- Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher) does not appear in this episode, neither does Denise Crosby (Lt. Tasha Yar), although Crosby remained in the opening credits for the remainder of Season 1.
- When Data attempts to determine which version of him is in the correct time distortion, he uses a contraction when he says "Me! It's me!".
